Embed & deploy polls to your website

Now that you’ve created your first poll, and completed integration of the Sided script and placements, you are ready to embed your polls.

There are four methods for embedding polls on your website:


1. Embed a poll directly in a page
   
2. Deploy a poll to all pages
3. Deploy a poll to specific categories
4. Deploy a poll to specific pages

Embed a Single Poll

First, select the poll you'd like to embed. At the top of this page, you should see the "Poll Embed Code". Click the "Copy Code" button to copy the embed code for this poll specifically.

For the next three methods, click on the "Deploy poll" tab, then select the domain you'd like to deploy this poll to. This will default to your primary domain, however if you want to test on a staging domain, be sure to select that domain from the list first.

Deploy to All Pages

1. Click “Publish to All Pages” to deploy this poll to all pages on your site
2. On the next screen, select the placement you want the poll to show in (end of article, sidebar, etc)
3. Click Publish Poll - This poll should now be live on all pages of your site in the placement location you selected

Deploy to a Category

1. Click “Publish to Category” to deploy this poll to pages in a specific category
2. Next, select the category or categories this poll should show in 
3. After selecting a category, select the placement you want the poll to show in (end of article, sidebar, etc)
4. Click Publish Poll - This poll should now be live on all pages matching the category(s) you selected

Note: If you don't see any categories, make sure you have the category script added to your site. You can find instructions for this here.

Deploy to Specific Pages

1. Search for a page and select one or more pages from the list. If deploying to a single page, you can click the "Deploy" button next to the page url.
2. Click “Publish to Selected”
3. On the next screen, select the placement you want the poll to show in (end of article, sidebar, etc)
4. Click Publish Poll - This poll should now be live on all pages of your site
