How to report content for moderation

Registered Sided users can report any content they see including polls, comments, and profiles. When this content is reported, it ends up in the moderation queue for that network in the Sided admin dashboard.

To report content, click the 3 dots next to a poll, comment, or profile, then click Report. Next, select a reason for your report, and provide an explanation as to why you think this content should be moderated. A case will be submitted to the network moderator, and a decision will be made with both the reported and reporting user notified of the decision.

Users may also hide content, as well as mute or block other users.

Hidden content will be hidden from your feeds, and provides a signal to our algorithm that you don't like this content.

Content from muted users won't show in your feed, however you will still be able to view and interact with the user you muted. Comments from muted users may be hidden behind an interstitial which you'll need to click to view the comment.

Blocked users won't show in your feed, and you won't be able to access their full profile, and vice versa.

To remove a user from the muted or blocked list, go to your profile settings and select Muted or Blocked users.
